Google integration

Privacy notice

This notice covers Signalwright Reviewer Controls, the owner's administrative Google Drive and Google Docs integration.

Access and purpose

The application requests only https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. It uses that permission to create, read, and update control documents created through the app or explicitly selected for it.

Control documents hold operational metadata: identifiers, timestamps, checksums, retention deadlines, cohort-closure status, and copy or deletion status. This information supports consistent administration of the private reviewer process.

Storage and processing

Control records are stored in a private Google document and in the application's private control journal on its hosting service. Google processes the document and authorization data; Render processes the hosted application data under their respective service policies.

OAuth authorization credentials are handled separately from this public information site. This site contains no authorization credentials, forms, analytics scripts, or Google sign-in flow.

Sharing and limits

The controls integration uses Google data only for its stated administrative purpose. It does not sell that data, use it for advertising, or send it to language models for training or analysis.

The Google control document is designed to contain metadata rather than reviewer requests, answers, raw evidence archives, or reviewer private keys. This notice applies to the controls integration; separate reviewer disclosures govern the Clarity review itself.

Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Access, revocation, and deletion

The owner can revoke the app's authorization through their Google Account's third-party connections settings and can delete its documents through Google Drive. Revocation stops future authorized access; it does not itself delete existing records.

For removal of application-held control records or questions about retention, contact scottdsouthwick@gmail.com. Google may retain document history or recovery copies under its own service policies; deletion is not a promise of immediate physical erasure.

Changes and contact

The notice will be updated if the integration's access, use, storage, or sharing practices change. Contact: scottdsouthwick@gmail.com.
